What actually separates this from a regular horoscope

Worth understanding upfront: Nadi Astrology follows a genuinely different method from horoscope-based astrology.

A regular horoscope works from your birth date, time and place. Nadi Jothidam, as practiced at Siva Nadi Astro, starts instead with identifying a palm-leaf manuscript through the seeker’s thumb impression. From there, the reading moves through verification before the reader explains what’s actually in the manuscript.

That difference is why people search using all kinds of related terms — Nadi Astrology in Tenali, Nadi Jothidam, Nadi Josiyam, palm leaf astrology, online Nadi Jothidam, ancient palm leaf reading. Different words, same underlying tradition.

What to look for in a genuine reading

If you want something authentic, understand the process rather than judging by promotional language alone. A real consultation should be upfront about how leaf identification works, who’s conducting the reading, what languages are available, which Kandam you can choose, and whether the session is live or just a pre-written report.

Siva Nadi Astro’s process runs through thumb-impression submission, searching the manuscript bundles, leaf verification, reading the identified manuscript, and finally guidance on remedies. That’s enough to know exactly what you’re booking before you start.

Your thumb impression and how identification works

The thumb impression is where everything starts. For an online session, Siva Nadi Astro asks you to submit a clear photo of it beforehand — right thumb for men, left for women. For an in-person visit, it’s taken at the centre directly.

That impression becomes the starting point for searching through the manuscript collection. During verification, details from potential matches get read out, and you respond to what’s presented — the whole point being to confirm the manuscript that actually corresponds to you before the detailed reading begins.

If this is your first time, understanding this stage ahead of time makes the whole process a lot less unfamiliar.

Telugu readings for Tenali seekers

Language matters when you’re discussing something as personal as marriage, family, career, finances, or spiritual concerns. Siva Nadi Astro offers readings in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English, so Telugu-speaking seekers from Tenali can follow everything in a language they’re actually comfortable with — including online.

What the Kandams cover

Nadi readings are organised into Kandams, each traditionally tied to a different part of life:

• General life circumstances
• Family and wealth
• Siblings
• Mother and property
• Children
• Health matters
• Marriage and relationships
• Longevity
• Father and fortune
• Career and profession
• Gains and fulfilment
• Expenditure and spiritual matters

Siva Nadi Astro publishes separate chapters covering these — General Kandam plus specific ones for marriage, career, children, family, and spiritual matters. You don’t have to go through every chapter at once; pick the Kandam that actually matches what you want to understand.

How the online session actually works

For anyone who’d rather stay home, online Nadi Astrology in Tenali is a real alternative to travel. The process starts with booking and submitting your thumb-impression photo, then the live session runs over WhatsApp Video, Google Meet, or Zoom. Guruji handles the leaf identification, reads the confirmed manuscript, and explains everything in your chosen language.

That works well for Tenali families who’d prefer a private session at home, professionals without much travel time, or anyone who wants a family member sitting in. Sessions are available for seekers across India and abroad.

Meet Guruji M.S. Murthy Swamy

Who’s actually doing the reading matters. Guruji M.S. Murthy Swamy is a fifth-generation Nadi astrologer with more than 30 years of experience, reading in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English, working within the Vaitheeswaran Koil tradition — with in-person centres at Vaitheeswaran Koil, Hyderabad, and Kakinada.

For Telugu speakers in Andhra Pradesh, the Kakinada centre is especially relevant, serving seekers from Kakinada, East Godavari, and the wider coastal region.

Getting ready for your consultation

A little prep goes a long way. Before an online session, make sure your connection is stable and find somewhere quiet where you won’t be interrupted. If you’re submitting a thumb-impression photo, keep the image clear and properly lit.

It also helps to write down what you actually want to understand — marriage, career, family, children, finances, spiritual matters — so you know which Kandams to focus on. During verification, answer honestly and let the process run its course without adding extra information beyond what’s asked.

Why online works for Tenali

Distance shouldn’t keep anyone from a traditional Nadi reading. Online sessions from Tenali use the same manuscripts and core process as an in-person visit, just delivered over video — and it cuts out the need for repeated travel if you want to come back for follow-up.
